Applications are invited for admission in “Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Science and Human Factors” at Centre of Phenomenology and Cognitive Sciences, Department of Philosophy, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

About the Program:

The Program is a one-year course designed to bridge the distance between Human Sciences and Humanities. The Course will be taught by experts from the field of Philosophy, Psychology, Computer Science, Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. The program has a dissertation component for students who wish to pursue research (PhD Cognitive Science) or an industry internship component for students who wish to join the industry.

7-Day Short Term Faculty Development Program on

Writing and Assessment

(03-02-2020 to 09-02-2020)

The objective of this Short Term Course is to provide hands-on training in optimising the use of writing in the classroom. Writing is an important part of learning and forms the backbone of assessment but it often does not receive enough attention in the classroom. This FDP will be in the workshop mode in order to orient teachers for giving the writing skill its deserved place in the classroom.

Eligibility: Faculty Members working in Colleges and Universities(any discipline)

Venue: Department of English and Cultural Studies, Panjab University

Registration Fee: there will be no registration fee

Number of Seats : 40
