Asian Law & Public Policy Review [ALPPR] is delighted to announce a call for papers for its Volume 4, which will focus on contemporary issues of Law and Public Policy (National & International).
Asian Law & Public Policy Review (Volume 4 – 2018) publishes

on current as well as contemporary topics in comparative, national and transnational Law as well as Public Policy.
WORD LIMIT AND CITATION
ALPPR welcomes submissions of unsolicited, unpublished manuscripts within our scope as described above. We give preference to submissions less than 25,000 words in length including text and footnotes. ALPPR will not publish articles exceeding 35,000 words except in extraordinary circumstances. Manuscripts must be of generally publishable quality in English language grammar and usage, although selective use of foreign terms is permissible where appropriate. Submissions must reasonably comply with the latest edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation and provide attribution for all sources, whether legal or factual, outside the author’s own reasoning process.
CO-AUTHORSHIP & IDENTIFICATION
• Authors should not mention their name or any kind of identification mark in the manuscript. We will collect all the Author Details from the Submission Form.
• Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of 5 Authors. 5 separate certificates will be provided to each author.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
• The deadline for submission is May 10, 2019 as per the respective time zone in which the Author resides.
• Authors should submit their manuscript using the “Submit Article” link on the website i.e. alppr.ccinternational.in

THE REVIEW PROCESS & OTHER INFORMATION
ALPPR carefully reviews and considers all submissions that it receives. Our selection process includes several stages. At least three editors initially review each submission. Our Publication Committee then votes on candidates for publication. ALPPR will notify all submitters whether or not they have been selected for potential publication. As a matter of policy we do not discuss the reasons for our publication decisions. Authors invited to publish next execute a Publication Agreement with the Publishing Company. An editorial team is assigned to each article. However, the following things should be kept in mind while submitting your paper –
• It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that all references and citations are correct, and the submissions do not contain any material that infringes copyright or is defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful or litigious.
• The copyright of the manuscript will vest with Creative Connect International Publishers Group. Due accreditation will be given to the authors.
• For the purpose of anonymity, the author/s shall not disclose their identities anywhere in the body of the manuscript.
• The submissions will undergo a multi-stage peer-review process.
• The Editorial Board reserves the right for modification of the manuscript to maintain the standard and quality of the submission. The board will notify its decision and other relevant information through email.
PUBLICATION FEES
The author/s are expected to pay the following publication fee, once the manuscript is accepted for publication. The mode of payment will be intimated to the author/s via email.

The capable and updated teachers are the fundamental need to maintain the standard of any education
system. In higher education, faculty development is inevitable for marinating and enhancing the quality and
excellence among the teachers. Traditionally, the higher education system focuses only on the domain
(subject) specific knowledge of the faculty members; but in the changing scenario it becomes essential for
faculty members to understand their role and responsibilities, various aspects of academic leadership,
university structure and functioning, curriculum design and content development, personal-emotional
development and counselling, effective use of ICT for teaching-learning and university governance and
administration etc.
The Group of Secretaries (GoS) Education and Social Development has recommended Induction Training for
freshly inducted faculty members in Universities/Colleges/Institutes to improve their knowledge as the basic
requirement of teaching in higher education as well as the Induction Training Programme is now mandatory
for freshly appointed faculty members within one year of their joining as per the mandate of Govt of India.
Further as per 2018 regulation the Induction Training Program has been considered equal to Orientation
Program for the purpose of promotion under Carries Advancement Scheme.
Keeping this in view, the Faculty Development Centre (FDC), HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal) is
organizing one month Induction Training Programme for faculty members in higher education from 15-
05-2019 to 13-06-2019 under the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching
(PMMMNMTT) scheme of MHRD, Govt. of India. The content outline for the training modules has been
designed and approved by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The modules are
prepared for the training of faculty members in Central and State Universities, Centrally Funded Technical
Institutions, Degree and PG Colleges will be made acquainted with the knowledge of their roles as freshly
inducted teachers in higher education. It will also induct them on various generic aspects of higher education
including university structure and functioning, curriculum design and content development, pedagogic
techniques and teaching-learning methods, research in higher education, personal-emotional development
and counselling, effective use of ICT for teaching-learning, university governance and administration and
academic leadership etc.
Interested teachers may apply on the prescribed application form through proper channel latest by 25-04-
2019. There would be no registration fee to attend the program. Accommodation-food and TA (AC 3 tier and
bus) as per university norms will be provided by Faculty Development Centre.

Dear friends and honourable colleagues,
Greetings and Good wishesfrom Phenomenology Fraternity!You may probably recall that during our seminar on Phenomenology of Culture in Kohima, Nagaland towards the end of November 2018 and later on during the seminar cum workshop on Phenomenology of Time Consciousness in Husserl and Heidegger in Chennai towards the end of January 2019, it was announced that the next programme of Centre for Phenomenological Studies will be a week long seminar on Phenomenology, Science and Religion to be held in Pune. I am glad to inform you that the seminar will be at Jnana Deepa Vidyapeeth from 19 to 23 August 2019. The maximum number of participants will be 25. To participate in the seminar, you need to send to the organizers an abstract of your proposed paper, not less than 1000 words, before 31 July 2019. All the selected 25 will be presenting their papers. The abstract will be evaluated by a committee and if your abstract is found to be of good quality, then you will be requested to write the full paper which will be about 20 pages (typed one and a half space, including end notes, if any on A4 size paper). It will definitely be published by the Centre for Phenomenological Studies.
The Center for Phenomenological Studies will meet your board and lodge at Pune and will also pay you one way ordinary 2nd class sleeper train fare from its frugal resources.. However, kindly pay a registration charges of Rs. 500/- and please meet your return fare as well.
