Applications may be sent upto 15 days prior to the tentative schedule of interview in case of candidates from within India and upto 8 days before the date of interview for those applying from abroad. At least two reference letters from persons well acquainted with candidate’s work are essential for consideration of candidature. Candidates have to ensure that reference letters as above reach the Institute well before the date of interview for consideration of their application. Tentative schedule of interviews for different departments is mentioned in the table above. 

 Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D in the appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout. Candidates who have submitted their thesis, or are likely to submit within two months of the date of interview may also apply. 

Experience:

Professor: A minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least five years should be at the level of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor.

Associate Professor:  A minimum of 8 years of  teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor: At least 3 years of teaching / research / industrial experience.

Senior Lecturer*:   This is not a regular cadre of the Institute. However, appointment as a Senior Lecturer can be made on a contract basis, ordinarily for a period of 3 years, but not exceeding 5 years.

83rd Session of India Philosophical Congress :22-25/October/2008

The 83rd Session of Indian Philosophical Congress is going to be held from 22-25 October,2008, to be hosted by Gujrat Vidyapith, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, Gujrat-380014(India).

 

1.For Membership:

On production of a “certificate of studentship from head of deptt. and the membership fee is Rs.150/.

 to be sent through an A/c payee Demand draft in favour of “THE INDIAN PHILOSOPHICAL CONGRESS” payable at New Delhi to the Treasurer:

2. For Paper and Accomondation:

15th  August,2008 is the deadline for the submission of papers of not more than double spaced eight typed pages lenght (2400 words) along with abstract of 200 words and also a  Draft of Rs.350/- infavour of  “83rd session of INDIAN PHILOSOPHICAL CONGRESS”

for accomondation and if you not submit this on time than Rs.100/- extra wiil  have to pay as extra to get acomondation.
