The Department of Philosophy, University of Mumbai offers the
following tracks for the M.A. Programme:
 M.A in Philosophy (Papers)
 M.A. in Philosophy with specialization in Jainism (Papers)
 M.A. in Philosophy with specialization in Buddhism (Papers)
 M.A. in Philosophy with specialization in Yoga. (Papers)
 Applications also invited for M.A.(By Research)/M.Phil./Ph.D.
Candidates without a formal background/major in Philosophy in their
undergraduate progamme may register for workshop on Basic Concepts in
Philosophy scheduled from June 13th to 15th June, 2019 and appear for a
faculty-change entrance test. Syllabus for the test: History of Indian
and Western Philosophy and Syllabus of T.Y.B.A. Philosophy, University
ofMumbai. The faculty- change test will be held on 6
th July, 2019 from
2.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. in the department. Kindly apply and register at the
