  1. ICPR Young Philosopher Award.


Eligibility: The scholar must be in the age group not exceeding 35 years as on 31st December 2015. The scholars of the target age group may submit their bio-data along with 2 copies of their published work during the last 5 years.


The award amounts to Rs.50,000/- and a citation.


Heads of Department of Philosophy of Indian university/Institutions/Eminent Philosophers/Retired teachers of Philosophy in the country may also nominate suitable scholars for consideration of the award.


  1. ICPR Best Book Award.


Eligibility: All books published in India in Hindi, Sanskrit or English during Jan 2014 to Dec 2015, in philosophy are eligible for consideration of the award. The books must be original works showing promise of mature philosophical thinking and the year of first publication of the book should be mentioned. Authors can submit their books (2 copies) to ICPR for evaluation and consideration.


The award amounts to Rs.50,000/- and a citation.


Nominations are solicited from eminent philosophers, Heads of Department of Philosophy and retired teachers of philosophy in the country.

Guidelines for Paper Submission:

  • Name and details of Co-author, if any.
  • The paper should be typed in MS WORD format (preferably 2007 or 2010)
  • The paper must be in single column lay out with margins justified on both sides.
  • The sub heading should be in font size 12, bold and Times New Roman, left aligned.
  • The main text should be in font size 12, Normal, Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing and Justified
  • The length of paper should not exceed 6,000 words (including footnotes). Exceeding the word limit may lead to rejection of papers.
  • All references must be in the form of footnotes with font size 10 and should be according to the Bluebook 19th Edition.

Abstracts must be submitted online via the official website of the symposium: http://ades.erciyes.edu.tr.
Abstracts should be written in English. Explanation regarding the language of the presentation is given below under the subheading “Presentation”.
The title for the abstract should include max 12 words.
Abstracts should be between 100 and 300 words.
Abstracts should be followed by 3 to 6 keywords.
Abstracts should not be published or presented elsewhere before.
The deadline for abstract submission is 5 August, 2016.
Abstracts that are accepted will be announced on 12 August, 2016 at the symposium official website.
The registration fee is 200 USD, and it includes symposium kit, coffee breaks and proceedings.
The registration fee for residents of the host country is 100 USD.
For abstracts with two or more authors, the registration fee should be paid by each author attending the symposium.
Authors who will present more than one paper will also pay for each paper separately.
Details about registration fee payment methods will be announced later.
The deadline for payment of registration fee is 5 August, 2016.
The duration for each presentation is 15 minutes. A 5-minute Q&A (question and answer) session will follow each presentation.
Papers can be presented in Turkish or English. There will also be some special sessions for National/Regional languages.
No translation facility will be provided for the presentations.
Session rooms will be equipped with a computer and a projector.
Participants will be given a certificate of presentation or participation.
Travel and Accommodation
The expenses for transportation (local and international) and accommodation are to be paid by participants. Detailed information and recommendations about these issues will be uploaded at the symposium official website.
Publication of Papers
Full papers presented at the Symposium should be written in APA style (6th Edition).
Deadline for the submission of full papers is 30 January, 2017.
Full papers will be published with ISSN as proceedings.
All full papers will be evaluated by the Advisory Board and the ones that are selected will be published by an international publishing company as a book.
