Call for Papers

Respected Faculty/Scholar,

Sri Aurobindo was one of the most creative and significant figures in the history of the Indian renaissance and Indian nationalism. Romain Rolland regarded him as the highest synthesis of the genius of the East and the West and the ‘Prince among the Indian thinkers’. According to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, “Aurobindo was the greatest intellectual of our age and major force for the life of the spirit. India will not forget his services to politics and philosophy and the world will remember with gratitude, his invaluable work in the realm of philosophy and religion”. Sri Aurobindo was an Idealistic to the core. His Idealistic philosophy of life was based upon Vedantic philosophy of Upanishads. He maintains that the kind of education, we need in our country, is an education “proper to the Indian soul and need and temperament and culture that we are in quest of, not indeed something faithful merely to the past, but to the developing soul of India, to her future need, to the greatness of her coming-self creation, to her eternal spirit.” The year-long celebrations to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo began from 15th August, 2021 in India and all over the world.
