Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is one of the most eminent intellectual figures of modern India. The present year educationist and humanist from all over the world are celebrating 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by organizing various events and programmes. In this regard the Centre for Positive Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies (CPPIS), Milestone Education Society (Regd.) Pehowa (Kurukshetra) took an initiative to publish an online book with ISBN. We encourage the academics, activists, students, research scholars, public information officers, journalists, civil society members and others interested in sharing their experiences or writing their thoughts and or taking their look or giving their perspective on the philosophy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and contribute a chapter/paper to the proposed edited book.

Format of Paper Submission:

Research papers are invited from faculty members and research scholars on the thrust areas of the seminar or any other related topic as per the suggested format here. The paper should be typewritten preferably in Times New Roman in 12 font size (English) or Kruti Dev (10) in 14 font size (Hindi) single spacing in MS-Word format and between 2500 to 3000 words. Name, Designation and Contact details of the authors should be accompanied with the paper on a separate sheet.

• The authors should submit the hard copy along with a CD and a certificate of originality of the paper to be sent to the given address.

VOLUME 2 ISSUE 1 [ISSN: 2454-1273]

International Journal for Legal Developments and Allied Issues [IJLDAI] is delighted to announce a call for papers for its Volume 2 Issue 1 which will focus on contemporary issues of law.

GUIDELINES

• Authors should not mention their name or any kind of identification mark in the manuscript. Any manuscript found to have any details of authors shall be rejected upfrontly.
• Article shall be of 2500-6000 words, book reviews: 1000-1500 words, short comment: 1000-1500 words.
• All submissions have to be made in MS Word format with Font size 12 and 1.5 line space.
• Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of 3 Authors. 3 separate certificates will be provided to each author.
• The piece should not be overly technical, but practical and engaging.
• Papers must be written solely by the candidate, in English, and may not have been submitted for publication elsewhere.
• All the claims of the authors, in the body of the manuscript, are expected to be backed by reasons along with proper citations [any uniform citation will do] and shall not be merely an assertion.
• Submission should also mandatorily include the author’s view, in the conclusion, taking into considerations the aspects/contentions discussed throughout the manuscript.
• Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and shall lead to immediate rejection.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

• The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM Indian Standard Time on 3^rd of January, 2016.
• Authors should send their papers using the “Submit Article” link on the website i.e. ijldai.thelawbrigade.com
• For any queries, contact us using the link on the website.
• Submission must accompany a Title Page clearly mentioning Title of the Paper, Full Name of Authors, Complete Postal Address, Email Ids and Contact Number.

THE REVIEW PROCESS & OTHER INFORMATION:-

• It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that all references and citations are correct, and the submissions do not contain any material that infringes copyright or is defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful or litigious.
• The copyright of the manuscript will vest with The Law Brigade Group. Due accreditation will be given to the authors.
• For the purpose of anonymity, the author/s shall not disclose their identities anywhere in the body of the manuscript.
• The submissions will undergo a double blind peer-review process.
• The Editorial Board reserves the right for modification of the manuscript to maintain the standard and quality of the submission. The board will notify its decision and other relevant information through email.

PUBLICATION FEES [TO BE PAID AFTER THE PAPER IS ACCEPTED FOR PUBLICATION]

The author/s are expected to deposit publication fee, once the research paper is accepted for publication. The mode of payment will be intimated to the author/s via email.

We are going to publish an anthology entitled Aspects of Indian Philosophy : Ancient and
Modern. The book will be published with ISBN no. from a reputed publishing house of New
Delhi. Interested contributors are requested to send their articles/research papers on

• Two Authors are permitted to submit a paper jointly.

co-author).
• One free copy of the book will be sent to the main author and co authors

SOCIOLINGUISTICS
A sociolinguist is interested in the functions of language and communicative competence
i.e. how language functions in society – who speaks what language to whom, when and
where and why. The significance of a language as a repository of socio-cultural patterns
of a language community can hardly be overemphasized. It is really remarkable that
during the last few decades sociolinguists all over the world have shed significant light on
these areas of language use. There is nevertheless more scope for in-depth studies on
languages – particularly Indian Languages- from a sociolinguistic orientation. No other
country affords so much opportunity for this kind of study as India, which has rightly
been called a ‘sociolinguistic giant’.
In view of this, Language Forum, a peer reviewed International Journal from Bahri
Publications, New Delhi wishes to bring out a special issue on ‘Sociolinguistics’. The
study of language in a social context will be the subject matter of this issue. Some of the
