The 4th International Conference on Intelligent Human Computer Interaction 2012 (IHCI 2012) will be held at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India during 27 – 29 December, 2012. IHCI 2012 aims to provide an excellent platform for exchange of thoughts between researchers interested broadly in the area where Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) intersects with Artificial Intelligence (AI). IHCI 2012 shall consist of keynote lectures by eminent researchers in the field, tutorials, workshops and oral presentations on all aspects of HCI that needs to be handled in an intelligent fashion. We are also very interested in contributions from related fields, such as psychology, cognitive science, computer graphics etc. The conference also provides an opportunity to local, regional and international industries and service providers to showcase their technologies, products and services. The special theme for this year’s conference is Advancing Technology for Humanity.
All papers in IHCI 2012 will be categorized into three categories: Student, Women in Engineering, and General. In the “Student” category, the first author should be a student, whereas in “Women in Engineering” category, the first author should be a woman. The rest of the contributions would be considered in the “General” category. A best paper award will be given to the paper with extreme good quality. There is a fellowship and/or registration fee waiver for papers in the “Student” and “Women in Engineering” categories. All the accepted papers will be published in IEEE Explore and expected to be linked in DBLP. Some selected paper expected to be considered for publication in the Interacting with Computer (IwC), Elsevier journal. |
