Mandala in Sanskrit means “circle.” Although Mandalas often consist of squares and triangles, its foundation lies in an inherent concentric structure. Mandalas offer balancing visual elements, symbolizing unity, harmony, a divine order.
There exists a vast variety of Mandalas used in diverse cultures throughout the world, suggesting its universal use as a tool for a disciple’s spiritual journey. How exactly do these symbols, designed through deliberate choices of colour and shape, help the Disciple’s or the Philosopher’s investigation of the Truth, the Divine?
