Indian Foreign Policy: Changing Paradigms
The Editorial board of The Asian Journal (TAJ), an international multi disciplinary journal with ISSN 2349-4271, is pleased to announce that it is bringing out a special issue (December-2014) on “Indian Foreign Policy: Changing Paradigms.”
This is in the backdrop of the recent proactive foreign policy initiatives launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a whirlwind tour of many important countries for the country’s development and security. His unprecedented visits to foreign countries with an objective to place India in a strategic alliance with key countries has created lot of interest in the paradigm shift in the country’s foreign policy. In this backdrop, The Asian Journal proposes to bring out a special edition on India’s foreign policy.
The authors interested in contributing articles can send their full papers on or before December 25th, 2014.
Suggested Themes for the special issue on Indian Foreign Policy include:
-NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits to foreign countries
-Prime Minister Modi’s addresses at Public Meetings in USA and Australia
-Initiative on International Yoga Day (June 21) resolution by the United Nations
-Look East Policy, Act East Policy
-India and SAARC
-India-Bhutan, India-Nepal, India-Bangladesh relations
-India-Middle East, India-Arab countries relations
The above mentioned themes are only suggestive in nature and the authors can write on any relevant issue related to the country’s foreign policy and its changing dynamics, historical perspectives etc.,
The articles need to be sent to the firstname.lastname@example.org . Articles should not exceed 8 pages and should be in 12 pt, Times New Roman font, 1.5 line space, footnotes at the end of the article. Papers should be strictly original.
Authors need to note that a processing/printing fee of Rs 2,300 (Rs 200 extra towards postal charges for those outside Hyderabad) will be charged for the selected articles to be published.
