Think India, Essay Writing Competition

WHERE: NITTTR Campus, Bhopal

ORGANIZER: Think India

Think India is a forum of students from premier institutes like IIT, IIM, IISc, and National Law School and other such premier institutes in the various field of academia, across India. The idea of Think India came into reality with the organization of the maiden Think India convention in 2007 at the Art of Living Ashram, Bengaluru which drew participation of students and research scholars from almost all premier institutes across South Indian states. Think India is presently active in all major IITs, IISc and NLUs around the country. Know more

THEME: Law: Fulcrum of Change? (Using law as an instrument of change – social, economic and political)

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Only students, researcher, faculty and alumni of various National and Premier Institutes are eligible to take part in the summit.

National Law School Journal 2012-2013: Call for Papers


National Law School Journal (NLSJ) is a peer-reviewed journal edited by faculty members at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) in Bangalore.

CALL FOR PAPERS: Contributions for the upcoming edition of the journal is invited. You can send contributions in the form of –

  • long articles (8,000-12,000 words);
  • shorter essays (5,000-8,000 words);
  • comments on judicial decisions (3,000–5,000 words);
  • analysis of legislative materials (3,000-5,000 words) and
  • reviews of recently published books (2,000-3,000 words)

besides other forms of scholarly writing.

WHO CAN SUBMIT: Legal practitioners, academicians and researchers. Those enrolled in research degrees (e.g. M. Phil, PhD. and comparable programmes) can also contribute.

NOTE: They will not accept submissions from students who are presently enrolled in taught programmes.
