You will be happy to know that the Nehru Studies Centre and the Department of Political Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in collaboration with the University Grants Commission, New Delhi is organizing a National Workshop on “Value Education in 21st Century & Human Rights” from 27th October to 2nd November 2012 at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Value Education is the much debated and discussed subject in the plethora of education in India. It has been observed that more concentration on Value education has been given at the primary and secondary levels of school education than in higher education in India. The reason is that Values could be effectively imparted to the young minds rather than to the matured ones. However, inculcating values at the higher education level is equally important in the present scenario. It is in this context we are organizing the national workshop. A detailed note of the Workshop is enclosed.
