Prof.         = Assistant Profess HOW TO APPLY The prescribed application form along  with other details may be obtained from the Section  Officer, Estt.II (B),  NEHU,  Mawkynroh-Umshing,   Shillong- 793022   on   payment   of  Rs. 20/- ( Rupees twenty) only  in  the form of  Banker Cheque/Demand Draft  or through University Challan drawn in  favour of the Finance Officer, NEHU, Shillong and payable  at the   State Bank  of   India, NEHU Branch ( Code No. 4295) . The same can also be downloaded from the website www. nehu.ac.in for which fee of Rs. 120/- (one hundred twenty) for general  candidates and Rs. 70/-(seventy) for SC/ST and OBC  candidates is required to be paid along with the application form.  Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from payment of any fees. Application forms may be collected personally or by sending self addressed stamped envelope. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS Candidates already in service should  send  their applications (s) through Proper Channel.  Short-listing of candidates for interview shall be as per norms of the University. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification shall not entail a candidate to be called for interview. The candidates having higher qualification shall be given preference. The University reserves the right to reject any application(s) without assigning any reasons. The University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any post. Fees once paid is not refundable. Applications received after the last date and incomplete application shall be rejected outrightly.     Last date for receipt of application form is  15. 10. 2009.
